the.ant Posted April 15, 2009 Share #1 Posted April 15, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm not sure which category to use, is this leisure time, or people, or other? Anyways, I had my first shot at concert photography, not with the best conditions (just standing* in the crowd), so all kind of comments are appreciated. All pics taken with M6+Tri-X+Xtol1:1 and scanned with Polaroid Sprintscan 35+. For some I adjusted the contrasts, some I left as they came from the scanner. Only the one with the leg in the air I had to repair digitally, since the negative was heavily damaged, but I didn't want to throw it away. * in a very loose interpretation of this word
Advertisement Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 Hi the.ant, Take a look here The Subways @ Het Depot, Leuven, Belgium . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
the.ant Posted April 15, 2009 Author Share #2 Posted April 15, 2009 I guess it would rather fit into the people category, seeing other concert pictures published there as well... if a mod would be so kind to move it. Thanks!
stuny Posted April 15, 2009 Share #3 Posted April 15, 2009 Tim - Very nice for subject, gritty atmosphere and moment. I'll move it to "People."

bill_h Posted April 16, 2009 Share #6 Posted April 16, 2009 Numbers 2 and 3 are terrific. Atmosphere, composition, movement all there. Rare to get such evocative pictures when most go for technical perfection. Bill
