topoxforddoc Posted April 4, 2009 Share #1 Posted April 4, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Sadly my old Linotype Jade scanner is no more. Although it was old, the full width tranny hood was great for doing contact sheets with the film still sleeved in storage sheets. What do people do now for digital contacts? I'd like to find another A4 scanner with a full width tranny hood. Cheap and cheerful is fine. Quality not an issue. I already have a Minolta 5400 at home and access to a Flextight X1 at work. I'm not sure if the current Epson scanners, say, can actually do a full width A4 transparency scan. Thanks Charlie Chan
