This afternoon I pass close to a horse club and decided to see what I could do with my D2.

Not a lot of action but some horses at rest.

This one looked sad to me.

C and C welcome

Raw converted to dng with adobe converter then dng processed with C1 ytransfer to jpeg and levels adjusted with PS Elements 4

I like the composition and what Stuart has done with it as well. I always try to have crisp focus on the eyes when I photograph my horses....but it us not easy...

Jean-Luc -

I use a very old program (ACDSee) that came with my first digital camera five years ago, the D2. There are far better programs now, but I know this one. First I went into Exposure and tried "auto exposure" which was too strong, so I cancelled it. Then I went back into exposure again adnboosted teh highlights and shados just a bit at a time, first one then the other. Once I had that balanced as I liked it I wnet into color and boosted the saturation a very small amount. Finally, I sharpened the image a moderate amount.
