erin Posted March 5, 2009 Share #1 Posted March 5, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello all -- I'm new to this forum and thought I would say hi! I'll should be receiving my brand new d-lux 4 either today or tomorrow and am incredibly excited. I've had a clunky Olympus for a while now, and while it has served it's purpose, it's not as portable as I'd like it to be, and the menus are incredibly awkward. I am looking forward to being able to run around with my lovely new camera and pick all of your brains!

bschererwi Posted March 5, 2009 Share #8 Posted March 5, 2009 Welcome Erin! I have been here for about half a year and I am enjoying this forum. Most people seem to be addicted by Leica and there is a huge knowledge about the Leica system. May be you will be addicted too. NZDavid Posted March 6, 2009 Share #9 Posted March 6, 2009 Welcome Erin. It's a feisty but fairly friendly bunch of fellas (and a few females). Leica has a great tradition, and you're buying into that -- not just another boring consumer product. The D-Lux will also help you take some memorable pictures. We are at your disposal to share advice. Have fun! David Killick, Freelance Journalist and Photographer, New Zealand
