Advertisement Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 Hi imported_peter_m, Take a look here Rawhide. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Marquinius Posted March 5, 2009 Share #2 Posted March 5, 2009 Peter, I like "cutting the strings" best: fine detail on your hand and on the cutting edge, with the rest nicely fading away. "Splitting" somehow is too clean: imho a hand or other part of your body would give it more meaning. "Beveling" is certainly good, but imho could be cropped (better: get closer with the camera) so you see more of the action with the curls. All in all very nice going indeed! stuny Posted March 5, 2009 Share #3 Posted March 5, 2009 Peter - Interesting, and beautifully documented. Terriric selective focus, selective light, framing and color

imported_peter_m Posted March 6, 2009 Author Share #5 Posted March 6, 2009 Marco, Stuart and VDB, thank you so much for commenting. Splitting is the odd one out, just got a finger in the bottom edge but it was the best one of the lot. Used a self timer on the M6 and just kept cutting and that is what I ended up with. I could crop the last one but I do prefer to leave things full frame. Peter
