lambroving Posted October 25, 2006 Share #3 Posted October 25, 2006 So John..., what did you think of the NC? Love your skies out there, (as usual), but would like to see a bit more of that ripple pattern in the sand. Did you shoot anything from a lower viewpoint? leicamann Posted October 25, 2006 Author Share #4 Posted October 25, 2006 Thanks folks..yes I did just about everything ..some NC..some B&W with Delta 100 Pro using the Leicaflex SL and a more recent R 50mm Summicron...etc. So I do have some with the ripples taking up 75% of the frame vertical view...will post that later. The NC is a wonderful film if you do not like the colors to be out of porportion with the subject matter...excellent tonal range and super friendly on the sking tones...very faithful..this is a film that I would like to work alot with...but "shoot yourself in the foot Kodak" decided to pull this..so wheneer I can find it. Thanks, Leicamann

dan_drabek Posted October 26, 2006 Share #10 Posted October 26, 2006 Very attractive monochromatic color scheme John. The perspective pulls it all together nicely. DD
kld Posted October 26, 2006 Share #11 Posted October 26, 2006 Like the wide view, the colors and the various reflections partly broken by the ripples. A lot to see in this landscape. Quality as usual, which means first class. :-) -- Klaus

albert Posted October 26, 2006 Share #13 Posted October 26, 2006 John, I can see you stopping dead in your tracks when you came upon this view. I'll let the more experienced sing the technical praises...........I really like it.......it helps me to better see the difference between postable-worthy and postable-unworthy photographs.........Al
