ArtZ Posted February 19, 2009 Author Share #6 Posted February 19, 2009 You mean the Panasonic M10 yes? :-) Nan... Isabelle, the Panasonic is the M10.2 or was it the M8.3? I can't remember... Anyway, I love my M9!
plasticman Posted February 19, 2009 Share #7 Posted February 19, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Nan... Isabelle, the Panasonic is the M10.2 or was it the M8.3? I can't remember... Anyway, I love my M9! Well, my prediction is there'll never be an M8.3... But don't worry - Leica will jump straight to an M8.4 or M8.6. For some reason, people prefer those even numbers in product names. Interesting to see what happens tomorrow, anyway. But I don't think we'll be seeing a fullframe M9 just yet. caparobertsan Posted February 20, 2009 Share #8 Posted February 20, 2009 Not M8.4 because 4 means death in Chinese?Japanese character! too Many Asian M8 users....M8 Die<- Can not igonor this. But theis is more possiblities from Zeiss Ikon D-rangefinder Or Epson RD-2, Or Bessa RD! Then Sorry Leica I have to buy one of them, of course they are FF. offshore Posted February 20, 2009 Share #9 Posted February 20, 2009 Nan... Isabelle, the Panasonic is the M10.2 or was it the M8.3? I can't remember... Anyway, I love my M9! The Panasonic will be half the price, as well built and come with a cool grip that you have to pay extra for on the Leica, when you can find one. jamriman Posted September 1, 2009 Share #17 Posted September 1, 2009 I'll love it even more when the M9.2 comes out and I could afford one. The only way now for me to get one is dump glass for it which is a very unwise investment.
chris_tribble Posted September 1, 2009 Share #18 Posted September 1, 2009 What I don't like about my M9 is the black paint finish. I was torn between this and the Anthracite - but a hammered finish didn't fit with my views of cameras as tools rather than jewellery.. However, after 3 years of intensive use, I'm concerned about its resale value - any thoughts (see photo) Welcome, dear visitor!
