Advertisement Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 Hi luigi bertolotti, Take a look here Goggled Summaron. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jc_braconi Posted February 8, 2009 Share #2 Posted February 8, 2009 Nice Luigi, Do you have a M3 ?
luigi bertolotti Posted February 8, 2009 Author Share #3 Posted February 8, 2009 Not at the moment ... ... had one for use years ago : was a "user" item, with body so-so as cosmetics, then changed it with a similar-conditions M4, for I liked to have the 35 frame... M2+M4+CL were more than sufficient for my photo attitudes; my "collection mania" is limited to lenses... ... difficult one really needs a number of Elmars 90, of which these are only a part of ... luigi bertolotti Posted February 8, 2009 Author Share #4 Posted February 8, 2009 BTW, the fact that I preferred M4 for having an embedded 35 frame, doesn't mean that I don't like viewfinders... : Took the Zeiss for it had 21... the Russian revolver dates back to my teenager's times, with Zorky4k... Philippe D. Posted February 8, 2009 Share #5 Posted February 8, 2009 Hi Luigi, ... wouldn't have been with that supernice case, probably I shouldnt have bought it... Yes, those cases are very funny and quite practical too. Here a Summaron twin and a Summicron-NAH with own cases Cheers
luigi bertolotti Posted February 8, 2009 Author Share #6 Posted February 8, 2009 Hey Philippe... just a "philological" issue looking at your image: your cases are clearly different one from the other (one seems exactly as my one)... but I see in an old Leitz catalog (1961) that goggled 35s and DR Summicron had the same code for the case (14552R, and really my Summicron DR fits well in my case) : do you know if your "different" case is simply a previous (or later) model, or a different one, with a different code ? In your pic the two seem to have a slightly different height... is it really so ?
Philippe D. Posted February 8, 2009 Share #7 Posted February 8, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Ciao Luigi, In your pic the two seem to have a slightly different height... is it really so ?Yes it is so.Our common case for the Summaron is code ECCOG/14552R, size 70mm high x 110mm the biger one for Summicron-NAH is ECOOG/14564, size 78mm x 115mm. (Codes out of older catalogue)
luigi bertolotti Posted February 8, 2009 Author Share #8 Posted February 8, 2009 Thanks Philippe... a code (14564) I seem to have never read of in my docs... I'll make a search...

Thanks for sharing the other pictures too, I really like to look at your (and other peoples) collections. It´s more fun and personal than to read auction catalogues or Leica books.
