Another couple of views... all from within a few hundred metres of the original viewpoint ..... this is beginning to resemble a tourist brochure.....

Correct .... :)

I have been going there regularly for 8yrs+ (my partner comes from there) and it has changed from a very tatty post cold war industrial city into a vibrant very presentable tourist destination .... some of the areas pictured were semi-derelict and the opera house had been left unfinished for years .....

Over to you.....

Thanks, I've never been there, but it does look extremely pretty now.

I'm sorry, I have nothing better to show... so let's get it over with as quickly and painlessly as possible... so that hopefully, real pictures can be shown again very, very soon...

So, where does this highway lead to? To make it easier: it ends there as well. And yes, it's an actual, numbered highway.

Sorry, I didn't mean to, but my "a bit" was apparently misleading... it's perhaps 200 km to the south.

9 km with 11% slope means you're going down vertically by 1000 m by the next slope alone. And that's not even the whole descent. And this part of the highway is unpaved... Quite some hill on a highway... ;)
