philipus Posted April 14, 2012 Share #9967 Posted April 14, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have no clue what this place is... "a few hundred kilometers west of Kyoto" would put us in the vicinity of Shizuoka or Kofu perhaps?
gdb Posted April 14, 2012 Share #9968 Posted April 14, 2012 There are MANY places who look like this one west of Kyoto. Even east, between Kyoto and Tokyo... We need help ! Cheers Gérard
Dirk Van der Herten Posted April 14, 2012 Share #9969 Posted April 14, 2012 Both Shizuoka and Kofu are east of Kyoto and on Honshu. But we have to look west - south west more precisely - and outside Honshu. Another hint: the place where the garden we're looking for is situated, was once the residence of a daimyo family called Matsudaira.
