stunsworth Posted November 4, 2009 Share #2541 Posted November 4, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) This is a hard one! I'm trying to see on what side of the car the steering wheels are... What I assume are the tax discs are on the right hand side as we look at them, so I'd assume we are in a country where you drive on the left - no doubt I'm totally off track. Advertisement Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 Hi stunsworth, Take a look here "Do you know the world ?" -- Competition --. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
luigi bertolotti Posted November 4, 2009 Share #2542 Posted November 4, 2009 (edited) Well, opposite side opinion from me... a place in which you drive right (there is a car that seems moving - right hand side) : the most important hint of this difficult search is the allusion to "hobby"... we are next to.... something specific about a certain hobby ? No idea about... tell us which hobby you refer to (hopingfully - something more arcane than photography... ) and someone will solve the mistery. vertekijker Posted November 4, 2009 Share #2543 Posted November 4, 2009 Maybe the hobby has got something to do with the building on the right? ------------------ Frans
Marquinius Posted November 4, 2009 Share #2544 Posted November 4, 2009 Sorry guys, I just got back from work (yes, after a 10 month sabbatical I'm back in line ... and liking it) but here's the verdict. NO. WAYYYY no. Not Almere, not even Europe. BUT ... it's not really that difficult. One of my hobbies concerns flying and I visited this place to, amongst others, see airplanes. But that's almost giving it away. I'll try to pop back in this night (at mine), otherwise tomorrow during work

Marquinius Posted November 4, 2009 Share #2547 Posted November 4, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Steve's right: this is Washington DC, Adams Morgan. Up on the hill in one of the nicest spots I've stayed in in the US. Stayed there at a B&B (yes, they have those in the US) and had lots of fun. I told you I'd give it away Steve: your turn. etibeti Posted November 4, 2009 Share #2552 Posted November 4, 2009 Is that Portmeirion in Wales? I saw a report about Wales on a german tv channel and they reported about a town in Wales which was the location for some movie and tv productions. This looks like that town.
