It's the Clyde Arc in Glasgow, spanning the river, well, Clyde. It's said to be called by locals the 'Squinty Bridge' on account of the angle at which it crosses the Clyde.

I ask for a bit of patience for the next location.

4 hours ago, M11 for me said:

Electric Powestation on the Rhine near Basel: The place is Birsfelden . . .

Do you agree @pop?

Indeed, I certainly do. It's the power plant and dam on the Rine river in Birsfelden, built in the Fifties by one Hans Hofmann.

Over to you.

Thank you.

I'll give you 2 images taken at the same spot in 2 different years:

The first one taken with M10 and 35 Summilux uncroped

Healy Pass. You're right. Its up to you @Bernard M 👍

My position is looking southwards into county Cork. In my back would be Kerry with its famous ring of Kerry that many tourists visit on their first visit to Ireland.

Your remark re the lens is depending on the image and its a long discussion. The image above could easily be croped a little bit to be equal to 35mm (imagine the 60Mpix sensor). So there is nothing against 28mm. Remember that I posted an album of Q3 images when the camera was launched. When I went to Ireland early last year I wondered if I should take the M11 with a few lenses or the test-Q3 (I had a preproduction Q3 at that time) or both. I was brave and I decided for the Q3, nothing else. I came back home extremely happy with only Q3 images. If you are interested you'll find that Q3-album on my web-site ("Leica Q3 2023": scroll down a bit to come to it). Good luck.

Thank you Alex. Please don’t take my remarks re 28mm too seriously: I have a kind of poor man’s Q (panasonic Gx8 and 15mm, eq to 30mm in full frame) which is very useful for family events. Useful, but boring. I have checked you web site, the 2023 Q3 album as well as other album, and strongly appreciated your images. I have to work to reach your or your wife level 🙃.

looking for the next image now.
