Drum roll, please. Rock of Cashel is right. We visited two years ago, on a very gray day. There were quite a few tourists, but I applied the concept of the Decisive Moment (i.e. press the button when the other tourists were just out of the frame.). Of the places we have visited, Ireland is one I would go back to early and often. Lots of history, beautiful landscapes, very good food, gracious and civilized people. A beautiful place to photograph and when the weather turns foul you simply switch to black and white and you are always rewarded.
