Dirk Van der Herten Posted February 23, 2019 Share #18541 Posted February 23, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) It's supposed to be 😎 OK, here's another hint. The suite was written for the classical guitar, and it is a kind of musical tour of famous castles of Spain.

Arrow Posted February 24, 2019 Share #18542 Posted February 24, 2019 That should be Castles of Spain by Frederico Moreno Torroba.
mdemeyer Posted February 24, 2019 Share #18543 Posted February 24, 2019 (edited) The castle is in Alcañiz, 5th movement of the Castillos de España by Federico Moreno Torroba. Part XII is Alcázar of Segovia, but that doesn’t look right to me (roofline). Yes? Edited February 24, 2019 by mdemeyer
Dirk Van der Herten Posted February 24, 2019 Share #18544 Posted February 24, 2019 Excellent! The castle of Alcañiz it is, today a Parador Nacional and we were looking for this exact part of the suite by Torroba. The number 14 of the suite I referred to is based on the 2007 Naxos recording by Anna Vidovic, the only complete recording I know of. I guess number 5 comes from a recording by Andres Segovia, but this is only a partial recording. For those who want to listen to this wonderful piece of guitar music: Your turn now, mdemeyer. Arrow found the composer, but you found the correct location on top.
Dirk Van der Herten Posted February 24, 2019 Share #18545 Posted February 24, 2019 Too late I noticed mdemeyer edited his post, and changed Alcañiz to Alcázar of Segovia ... Bad luck 😒

a.j.z Posted February 24, 2019 Share #18550 Posted February 24, 2019 (edited) This is clearly Calatrava design. Here in Valancia. The clue has apparently to do with the Science Museum that it is on the picture but I leave this to somebody else. mdemeyer Posted March 4, 2019 Share #18560 Posted March 4, 2019 OK... - bridge and related buildings are in Valencia, Spain (correctly identified) - buildings were used as part of the set for a movie released in 2015 starring George Clooney - to get there, you needed a pin as shown in this clue... What was the movie and where was the scene with these buildings set? Welcome, dear visitor!
