I agree. Regarding the collection: to see La Gioconda (Mona Lisa) without crowds, go to the entrance on the opposite side of the Louvre (away from the popular Pei pyramids) before it opens, and when it opens go directly to see her. Within a half hour you'll not be able to get near her.

How do you avoid the noise at such a high ISO?

After your question,i have verified the Iso for these pictures, they are at 160 Iso (and not at 640 as i said above):sorry for the mistake

Usually,i took pictures up to 320 Iso without noise.

With the M8 and the Lux 65 mm f:1,4 lens, it's easier to shoot with little light as you can see here (pictures without "treatment")

These are terrific! I particularly like the first image on this thread. As to how much time you need to do justice to this place, like the Metropolitan Museum in New York, I think you need a month to begin to at least scratch the surface! :D

The Louvre is one of the famous place in the world, you must visit because for the history of this castle.

I always wish to visit ALL the museum but i have no time:may be, when i will be on the retirement....
