petewayne Posted January 24, 2009 Share #1 Posted January 24, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Lock #76 is a mile east of Dun Mill Lock (as shown previously in other threads). This lock has a tow horse bridge crossing the canal, which still bears the scars of World War 2 Anti Invasion defences.

arminw Posted January 24, 2009 Share #2 Posted January 24, 2009 is #4 the image of the trees up side down by accident or deliberately ? If the latter I like it a lot !
stuny Posted January 24, 2009 Share #3 Posted January 24, 2009 Armin - I think the trees are reflected in the canal water.
petewayne Posted January 24, 2009 Author Share #4 Posted January 24, 2009 yup.....the tree is a reflection in the canal of trees standing on the opposite bank. Once again I was shooting a Canon 5DMk2 side by side with the DLux4......whilst the detail is greater from the 21MP camera, I have to say that I prefer my DLux4 images......still the Canon is going back soon
