Advertisement Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 Hi antistatic, Take a look here Agapanthus. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
stuny Posted January 24, 2009 Share #2 Posted January 24, 2009 David - #1 works quite well with its selective focus and soft overall feel, and does so largely because of the excellent composition with the subject placement and gentle arc. That's missing form the other two.
Doc Henry Posted January 24, 2009 Share #3 Posted January 24, 2009 David, I don't know this plant but is it this one? Agapanthus campanulatus I agree with Stuart, may be the two last pictures need some more contrast
vdb Posted January 24, 2009 Share #4 Posted January 24, 2009 #1 is beautifully composed with excellent boke and tonal richness.
antistatic Posted January 24, 2009 Author Share #5 Posted January 24, 2009 Thanks everyone for the feedback. Henry that is the plant. Perhaps two and three were better in the conception than in the execution I did fiddle with the contrast and levels for number three, but the flower bud never quite popped from the background.
