MikeMyers Posted September 22, 2009 Share #41 Posted September 22, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) About the image, it's not what I remember, but it's closer. I'll see if I can find some examples of Ektachrome IR on the net that are what I'm trying to describe. As to the filter, there are no markings, no numbers, no nothing. I'll probably pick up the real thing at B&H, and also try to figure out what I've now got. The last time I wanted to buy IR filters, it was for my DSLR, and I read that this would be a poor setup anyway, unless I wanted to get the camera taken apart and have the anti-IR filter removed. I almost did that, but I wasn't sure how many IR photos I'd be taking. Now that I've got the M8, it's a whole new world, with lots of possibilities. If you've done this before on an M8, is it possible to save the settings (white balance) as one of the four "user settings" so it's stored in the camera and ready for instant use?
