silfver Posted October 18, 2006 Share #1 Posted October 18, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) I came across a group of teachers and children rallying for afterscool activities. I had one roll of Kodak BW400CN with me and snapped some photos with my Leica M3 and Summicron 50/2. Got the email address from one of the teachers and sent them the photos which they really liked. Text that went with the photos were: Lights On! On October 12th, children and members of the School Health Programs Department (SHPD) ExCEL took to the streets to join more than 7,500 sites across the nation celebrating and promoting after school programs as part of the 7th Annual Lights On After School'. The intent was to send a message that after school activities is key to children's success and that we must keep the lights on – and doors open – after school. Quality after school programs provide children with opportunities to discover hidden talents as they grow academically as well as socially. Parents, media, employers, neighbors, school officials and others were all invited to help rally for safe, stimulating after school programs. To help support these activities a 2nd Annual Harvest Festival will be held on October 27th, 2006 at the McKinley elementary school's lower yard (1024 14th street) at 6:30-9:30pm. Everyone is invited to join in for a night of fun, food and games where all proceeds goes to benefit the After School Enrichment Program. This was shot on Kodak's BW400CN film (a C-41 film) with a yellow-green filter on to bring it down a stop (as it was really bright that day). I also find the tones to be a bit muddy and I wouldn't mind seeing what you could do in PS with one if you don't mind. Rich
