Price of IIf in £

It may be difficult to find a UK price for this in 1950. There were very tight restrictions on imports into the UK at that time. Cameras in particular were restricted, and high tariffs kept prices of any that were imported very high. As I recall, you may have needed a good reason to import a foreign camera into the UK at all at that time.

Olaf, a lateral thought, if I may... I think the main dealer in the UK at the time was (probably) Wallace Heaton. You may want to try Googling using that company name and see if there are any price lists out there - I have had a quick try myself, but didn't come up with anything specific - you may have more luck!

Hope this helps!

Bill

Wallace Heaton issued their famous Blue Book catalogue every year, I have a couple but the oldest is 1959 unfortunately
