stuny Posted January 7, 2009 Share #1 Posted January 7, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) In Grand Central Terminal is a shop for the NYC Museum of Transportation. This is a detail from an extensive Lionel train set-up showing track workers laying more track. Some are blurred since they are in motion (jackhammer, for one), and one is using an oxy-acetylene torch.

Marquinius Posted January 7, 2009 Share #3 Posted January 7, 2009 What is it that boys/men have with trains? I never owned one (and doubt that I'll ever buy one), but I can see the fun of it. Nicely done! Marco
stuny Posted January 7, 2009 Author Share #4 Posted January 7, 2009 Virgil - Thank you. Marco - Thank you. As a child I had a Lionel (O-guage) set-up, which I nver asked for but appreciated. I think my father wanted it, so we had it. Barbara always liked them (especially steam locomotives) and some years ago I assembled a modest N-guage set-up for her.
