A bloomin' cold day in London town as the old year slipped slowly away.... glad that John, Pete, Andy, Bob and George could make it.. thanks for your companionship, guys!

The elusive Andy caught on camera using digital

Pete's cheeky smile as we listen to his much quieter M8 (it really is quiet!)

Bob's enormous 80 Summarex(?) creates interest from the passing crowd

... for George... yes, I can get the whole thing in my frame using the WATE!

Andy, yeah we can be quite a wild bunch when we're aroused :D

George, some excellent captures from the market - especially the 'steamy' girls and the block stirring the big pan.

Just a few more from me. It was such a grim day that B&W (with one exception) seems to be best for landscape stuff

Thank you all, great fun and good company. Pity the light was tupperware box grey!

These are the D2 via RAW Developer. I will do the film shots at the weekend.

It was a fair turnout considering the season and the cold but, as always, I enjoyed the day immensely thanks to the excellent company!

Louis, George and Andy, what great sets of shots! I particularly like the humour in Andy's shot "Flour Power" but all the shots are very pleasant. It was great that Borough Market turned out to be so interesting.

Here's a few humble offerings of my own.

Pete.

As usual, late to the party :D .

Thanks to all for a very enjoyable day.

Titles to the pictures could be:

1. The Offer

2. The Acceptance

3. Clinching the deal, look 'em in the eye and grab 'em by the .....

4. Fleeting friendships.

5. End of the day.

The red setter in "fleeting friendhips" was crippled and had laid down on the pavement for a rest when the smaller dog walked by. They struck up an instant friendship. A grab shot taken with a 60 year old Summarex.

1, 2, & 3. 35mm Summilux ASPH @ f1.4.

4. 1/6 of frame, 85mm Summarex @ f1.5

Pete -

Super collection of images from yesterday's foray around Borough Market.

I especially liked the shot - ' The Lady behind all the cheese ', presume taken with your new 50mm 1.4 Lux.

George

I'll second that. Those are gorgeous colours Pete.

Bob that's a good grab of "Little & Large" making friends. The look on the Setter's face is almost human!
