vdb Posted December 13, 2008 Share #5 Posted December 13, 2008 Ivan, brilliant! I love the toning and depth. I have thought about doing a series on old pick-up trucks...youv'e inspired me! I'm curious, did you use Nik Silver for B&W conversion? I have been trying it...
thompsonkirk Posted December 14, 2008 Share #6 Posted December 14, 2008 Hi, Ivan - Looks to me like a Gone-r! Lovely shadow detail in the foreground, Kirk
azzo Posted December 14, 2008 Author Share #7 Posted December 14, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Virgil, You should start this series if you have this opportunity. They make a lovely subject. Actually no conversion. Agfa APX b&w film (and later toned in PS) captured about 6 or 7 years ago and came across it only yesterday when searching for another scan .................. Kirk, You're right. More of a goner than a Commer. Thank you both gentlemen for taking the time to look and to comment and as always, it's appreciated.
Marquinius Posted December 14, 2008 Share #8 Posted December 14, 2008 Ivan, I simply LOVE photo's like this one. And your DPP is again outstanding. BTW: when I saw the title I immediately knew it was about a truck (telling something about my age, Commers not being around for decades ) Marco

Every time I see a B&W I now assume it was converted with digital proc!
