gylee Posted October 15, 2006 Share #21 Posted October 15, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Is that guy real, ..or is it a dummy? That's just the Cannon plastic effect Great shot Steve. The one with the wife is pretty good too. Clearly he is pondering whether to make a break for it while she is in the bathroom in the first shot. Advertisement Posted October 15, 2006 Posted October 15, 2006 Hi gylee, Take a look here Paris, restaurant or fast food. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Overgaard Posted October 15, 2006 Share #22 Posted October 15, 2006 I would crop only the right part where there is the sign - and leave the person sitting (in no 2 that would keep the kebab owner in the picture as well). Calms down the picture but I think the space to the right is needed. It's a great shot and no 2 is also. I think some time spent in PS fixing few adjustments would make it very classic - even it will never become the photo you first invisioned. So forget that one and make what is there classic. fotografr Posted October 15, 2006 Share #23 Posted October 15, 2006 I don't know that the comparison works in the first shot, but it doesn't need it because the guy's expression makes the whole picture. The second works better as a comparison, but I prefer the first for its own merits.
stunsworth Posted October 15, 2006 Author Share #24 Posted October 15, 2006 Brent, I agree with you. I think a cropped version of the first is the strongest of the two images. Actually I think it's the guy's nose that makes the first one :-)

Guest stnami Posted October 17, 2006 Share #27 Posted October 17, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) ....yea forget the crop, there are enough subtle contrasts of activity to retain as is 4 images in one. Good stuff Steve
