spylaw4 Posted December 4, 2008 Share #1 Posted December 4, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) I understand that Leica are going to produce a Titanium finish (not solid titanium) version of the D-Lux4, complete with a special finish leather case. Only 500 are to be made with 50 allocated to the UK. Premium priced about £600 I think.

lemalk Posted December 4, 2008 Share #7 Posted December 4, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Is it just me or does the barrel not matching the rest of the body make this looked like it was just pieced together at the last minute? I much prefer the all-black model. And why wouldn't they use the silver barrel of the LX3 to better complement? I'll pass.
carylwithay Posted December 5, 2008 Share #8 Posted December 5, 2008 There may not be a Leica rebate but those of us who had the M8 upgrade have a really useless coupon for $150 which now can have a use on this limited edition. I just ordered one. It was not useless when issued but now that there are rebates on everything an M8 owner could use, they became useless. I assume Panasonic is not putting out a titanium cameraLOL Caryl
sliversurger Posted December 5, 2008 Share #9 Posted December 5, 2008 but the titanium dlux 4 doesn't match the M8 at all! =)
mishima Posted December 6, 2008 Share #10 Posted December 6, 2008 Wow.. From the first glance on the limited unit, it looks weird. Seems so plastic and abnormal without the RED dot.
