Advertisement Posted July 1, 2006 Posted July 1, 2006 Hi marc_dufour, Take a look here Ice on the rocks. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
imported_peter_m Posted July 1, 2006 Share #2 Posted July 1, 2006 Nice perspective on this one. Looks like you got there just in time before all the ice was gone of the rock. Peter
robert_parker Posted July 1, 2006 Share #3 Posted July 1, 2006 Marc Striking perspective and powerful colour - I like the little patch of green almost in the centre, too.
marc_dufour Posted July 2, 2006 Author Share #4 Posted July 2, 2006 Peter and Robert, Thanks a lot for looking and kin comments. The picture was taken in Easter, coinciding with the beginning of meltwater. It was a sunny day, and I even had some trouble, going down through the hillsides :-) Marc
cbretteville Posted July 2, 2006 Share #5 Posted July 2, 2006 Really cool! Like how it looks like there is a reflection on the image, but there isn't. - Carl
jmr Posted July 2, 2006 Share #6 Posted July 2, 2006 Marc, interesting perspective, at first glance I thought it was taken with a fisheye.

marc_dufour Posted July 2, 2006 Author Share #8 Posted July 2, 2006 You're right, John, it seems so. But really it's only the end of a very heavy "rock tongue". Its strange aspect is what appealed to me. Thanks for looking and comment. Marc
