earleygallery Posted October 13, 2009 Share #161 Posted October 13, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Just making final preparations for my flight in too few hours, not sure that I'll actually get any sleep, why is there always so much to do? Having checked the weather reports I've also had to rethink the packing strategy! I've taken an apartment up the coast from Valletta, Easyjet flight from Gatwick and shall buy a bus pass for the duration. See you in Malta!
Advertisement Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 Hi earleygallery, Take a look here Malta - The One Challenge Europe 2009, October 17th. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
andybarton Posted October 14, 2009 Share #162 Posted October 14, 2009 I have also booked the transfer people that Bill recommended, but had to book single journeys, rather than returns, as one of the party has a flight 6 hours before the remaining two. Let's hope that there aren't a load of us wandering the lanes of Malta over the coming days
earleygallery Posted October 14, 2009 Share #163 Posted October 14, 2009 For those yet to arrive, bus no.8 from outside the airport takes you to the main bus terminal in Valetta from where you can connect to whichever bus you need for your destination. It's under 50c for the trip and the buses are fantastic old classics - highly recommended! It's been raining on and off but its lovely and warm, and the beer's cold
