A bet was placed with the King's brother that a Summer Palace be built in 6 months. She lost the bet! I'll post the Palace built for her, you'll know why she lost the bet. stuny Posted November 17, 2008 Share #3 Posted November 17, 2008 Kelvin - A lovely pair of compositions with very nice depth and detail. #2 could use some post processing to punch it up -- It almost seems to be behind a slight, evenly spread miasma. I iteratively increased highlights and shadows by very small amount to do what you see below. Richard - I think Kelvin will show you Versailles, where MA lived very well (too well), with her own barn where she could dress like a milkmaid to play peasant, and the palace where they would invite peasants to enjoy watching them feast on Sundays.
