waileong Posted November 10, 2008 Share #8 Posted November 10, 2008 It's lifeless. Some human interest would be good.
stuny Posted November 10, 2008 Share #9 Posted November 10, 2008 Marie Louise - I agree with all the above except Lee Wai Leong's comment. It has a cold beauty that for me is perfect as it is.

paga Posted November 11, 2008 Share #13 Posted November 11, 2008 It's a great view from inside, did you take some shots from outside as well?
Rolo Posted November 11, 2008 Share #14 Posted November 11, 2008 Very nicely done, Marie-Louise. Good to see an approach for the best angles of this wonderful venue. Thanks for showing Rolo
louloumum Posted November 11, 2008 Author Share #15 Posted November 11, 2008 Thanks Rolo and Paga, I really appreciate your interest. I give it a go with the outside as well. Much harder to handle, though, so I'm not at all content with the result - but anyways this will give you an idea of what it looks like All the best _________________ Marie-Louise

I find it easier to make a statement with part of a building, rather than the whole. Also, see: http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/people/59719-rolo-s-morcambe-moments.html for some images of mine that are similar to yours above, but with a different treatment. See post here - Remembrance, which is 2% of a building at most. Rolo
louloumum Posted November 11, 2008 Author Share #17 Posted November 11, 2008 Rolo, you're so right... I guess our posts crossed somehow.... because I was very impressed with your results in Remembrance even before I read the above. Thanks so much for sharing your experience - I'll surely take it with me moving ahead with my attempt in this category. _______________________ Marie-Louise
