Advertisement Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 Hi Guest carolina, Take a look here power lines 5. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Marquinius Posted October 18, 2008 Share #2 Posted October 18, 2008 Carolina, #3 and #4 would be my fav! Btw: what do you mean "will end soon"? This crisis is not so bad that they will cut you off the grid, will they? Marco
stuny Posted October 18, 2008 Share #3 Posted October 18, 2008 Carolina - Had I not seen the others I would have been very impressed with these, but I think your earlier posts are stronger.
Guest carolina Posted October 24, 2008 Share #4 Posted October 24, 2008 thank you Stuart and Marco for your comments.Marco I mean my power lines posts. Most photographers moan - as do I - when they cut across the picture. But now I will take a second look. Carolina

andit Posted November 21, 2008 Share #7 Posted November 21, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi Carolina, I've been watching your power lines for sometime now. I work with these power lines on a daily basis. I have attached an image how I get to see them. This was taken with a FLIR Infrared Camera which sees energy and not light. It builds up a thermal image of the power line and thus shows one where there are faults (bad isolators, bad joints, corona etc.). Normally these can then be fixed before major power failures occur. Thanks for sharing. Andreas
