tiltyourhead Posted October 2, 2008 Share #1 Posted October 2, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) I just have a quick question to all those Digilux 2 users. Is there a way to format the SD card while in the camera? I have a Canon 20D that I also shoot with and I like to format the card before each shoot. Thanks! stuny Posted October 2, 2008 Share #2 Posted October 2, 2008 Absolutely. Be in review mode, press the menu button. Scroll up to get immediately to the last page, where it is the last item (If I recall correctly).

stuny Posted October 2, 2008 Share #4 Posted October 2, 2008 Wilfredo - It is a quick and thorough way to empty the card after you've transferred the data, and at the same time it usually cleans up any problems or potential problems on the card. I endorse this view entirely. In addition, if you swap SD cards between incompatible cameras you know that you are always starting with a clean sheet.
