Advertisement Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 Hi Dedalus, Take a look here So what's your sense now?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
lct Posted September 26, 2008 Share #2 Posted September 26, 2008 If we believe what's been said, but not written, by Leica there will be soon or late a digital R using the R mount and current R lenses without adapter. S/h prices would raise then logically. BTW Just ordered a mint 35-70/4 rom with 1 year warranty for 569 €. Still a bet though.
Dedalus Posted September 26, 2008 Author Share #3 Posted September 26, 2008 Just when I wanted to sell you mine for 559!!!
razerx Posted September 26, 2008 Share #4 Posted September 26, 2008 I'll wager Leica is developing the R10 right now with a set of new AF lenses. The 18-300mm f/3.5 - 5.6 Vario-Elmar kit lens will have 4 aspherical elements.
christoph_d Posted September 26, 2008 Share #5 Posted September 26, 2008 Gentlemen, Last Tuesday Dr Kaufmann plus three product managers took almost 2 hours to present the S2 to a crowd of 40+ members of this forum at the Photokina, and subsequently answered a great number of questions. It was - as you can undoubtedly read in other parts of this forum (the german-language bit) - a session that was greatly appreciated by everyone who attended. My understanding from what was said was that the R10 is in development and that it would accomodate the R lenses. If you wanted to see how it could look like, take a look at the S2 and deflate it a bit... I hope this information will aid your decision... Wishing you all good Light, C. Is it a good time to buy? Should I wait? Still shopping for a 28-90... what do you think? Just took advantage today to buy two more R-lenses on eBay-including a brand-new,boxed and sealed 24mm Elmarit-R for under Eur200 (from Australia)! Shows that there are still good bargains out there!
