I have seen this solve the problem for others in the past. Robert Many thanks, but unfortunately not this time. Cheers Guido

topoxforddoc Posted September 25, 2008 Share #23 Posted September 25, 2008 Will the DMR users here waiting for the R10? Or will you decide to leave Leica R family? I've bought a second DMR a couple of months ago to cement my R line. The image quality from my DMR is good enough for me. The R10 is currently vapourware, although I was told personally by Dr Kaufmann that it is really happening. However I want to know that the money i have invested in my R glass is secure. robsteve Posted September 25, 2008 Share #24 Posted September 25, 2008 Will the DMR users here waiting for the R10? Or will you decide to leave Leica R family? I can wait. My DMR works fine for now. Robert
guidowi Posted September 25, 2008 Share #25 Posted September 25, 2008 I can wait. My DMR works fine for now. Robert I can wait too. I am VERY happy with the DMR quality; it is slow and the LCD is small but the pictures are so brilliant (IMO more than the M8). Robert, your DMR work on a R8 or R9? did you find any framing issue? rsolomon Posted September 25, 2008 Share #26 Posted September 25, 2008 i sold my DMR, i got a farily good price to ! sometimes i miss it but i do think i made the right decision.... firmware 1.3 was a welcome release, it was really the first firmware to the field as V1.2 was not really endorsed for usage by leica themselves. the upgrade to V1.3 took years, i wouldn;t wait for another firmware version ...
