At the German coast line of the Baltic Sea (between the cities of Rostock and Stralsund,

very close to the Leica Academy workshop location "Zingst") there is a beautiful nature reserve, where I took these photos, the first one being a panorama, shot with M8,

a composition of 9 shots, ISO 160 and shutter speed 3 sec. each.

I am quiet impressed by the CS3 picture merging function...

Thanks for comments.

Nice series, which catches a sort of very "Baltic atmosphere".

BTW, I think that 1st pic is, of course, very badly rendered on PC: stitch of NINE !!! I suppose the original can result of incredible beauty when properly printed (maybe... if I can suggest... with a little PP to enhance shadow details, probably very worth with such an high defined file)

Luigi, you are right, this stitch needs PP. I will let work a PP professional on this

panorama (file size = 1 GB) - learning on the job..... -, because I think the quality basis is very good, and I am not good in PP. I then will try a print of a size between 4,5 m x 1,5 m / 3 m x 1 m (pixel size = ca. 11345 x 3904).

Thanks to all of you for your comments.
