palmskov Posted September 25, 2006 Author Share #5 Posted September 25, 2006 Thanks to you all for the comments. @Peter: Tried to show how the whole 'horror' proces works. @Vic: What do you mean by 'i like yo're not screaming at those photos'? Guest smep Posted September 25, 2006 Share #6 Posted September 25, 2006 Very good reportage-work, Nikolaj. It makes me very sad to see how brutal people can be You should print little booklets and give it to the ladies in mink-coats as a present...
vic vic Posted September 25, 2006 Share #7 Posted September 25, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) nijilaj - i mean that in the series (including the web) u dont put too much attention on brutality as some memebrs called it here. u make a very intreesting perspective, of nuetral observer, or even a little bit from the farmers point of view. the brutality that is seen speacks for itslef.. hence - it is very balance - your perspective of the series doesnot scream "BRUTAL BRUTAL O HO HO U HU HU" :-))))))))))))
Guest stnami Posted September 25, 2006 Share #8 Posted September 25, 2006 The images have a nice rhythm about them, the subject is treated with respect and the audience is not imposed upon. I like the three here and the last as on your site as a short sharp report
andybarton Posted September 25, 2006 Share #9 Posted September 25, 2006 Strong stuff.
uulrich Posted September 25, 2006 Share #10 Posted September 25, 2006 Nikolaj; Very good serie, both the pictures shown above and the serie on your web page are excellent. It's also good to show off the happenings around stupid fashion. as far as composition is concerned the pictures are rather quiet. I also like the blur you have included. Guest Metroman Posted September 25, 2006 Share #11 Posted September 25, 2006 Stunning series Nikolaj and thought provoking. As usual you get the best out of the D2.
palmskov Posted September 25, 2006 Author Share #12 Posted September 25, 2006 Thanks to you all for the feedback which is, as always much appreciated. Truely appreciated as most of your comments are regarding the balancing act and portraiting both the horror and the fact that this is someone's living. This was my intention in the first place. I would have been so easy just to snap all those literary bloody corpses in bright colours...
