Waterfall & Creek: Lamington National Park

Lamington National Park is situated in the hinterland of Queensland's famous Gold Goast and Surfers Paradise. On this day I walked c.20km in torrential rain but was rewarded with some lovely photo opportunities as the creeks and falls 'did their thing'!

This shot was taken with my R6 and 28mm Elmarit. The exposure on Ektachrome 100 (the warm version) was 1sec and the aperture was f3.5 - it was really quite dark! It was quite laborious opening the umbrella, setting up, taking the photo and then reversing the process, only to walk off and find I had to repeat it around the next corner!

Hi G,

Sorry for the delay in repsonding, but I've been away for a week and a bit. I don't do my own scanning, but hope to do so soon when I purchase a Nikon 5000ED. My main reason is to back up my slides and negs into a more durable / archival media. When that happens, I'll be posting more shots than I'm currently able to do.

Thanks for the complements.

With best wishes,

Ian
