Advertisement Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 Hi kevin4u2, Take a look here Leica Mp. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
earleygallery Posted July 26, 2008 Share #22 Â Posted July 26, 2008 But, shouldn't it have a Leicavit base, which it would have originally been supplied with, and (according to my pocket guide) the MP didn't have a self timer........

earleygallery Posted July 27, 2008 Share #25 Â Posted July 27, 2008 As Andy Barton has mentioned in the other thread about this camera, it really needs to be looked at by a specialist dealer like Sherry Krauter in the US, to determine if it is indeed a genuine MP and not a 'bitsa' camera, and they will be able to give you an accurate valuation or sell it for you, if that's what you wish to do with it. Â Assuming that it is genuine, the lack of the correct base and retro fit self timer would probably lower its value, and of course it will need a CLA at least. Again Sherry would be best placed to advise you on this.

jacksparrow Posted July 28, 2008 Share #27 Â Posted July 28, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Don't you think this camera should be given back to the widow? she probably didn't know how much it was worth when she gave it to your wife. I'd kind of sort of maybe understand not telling if you kept the camera, but if you plan on selling it...
