Leica Mp

As Andy Barton has mentioned in the other thread about this camera, it really needs to be looked at by a specialist dealer like Sherry Krauter in the US, to determine if it is indeed a genuine MP and not a 'bitsa' camera, and they will be able to give you an accurate valuation or sell it for you, if that's what you wish to do with it.

Assuming that it is genuine, the lack of the correct base and retro fit self timer would probably lower its value, and of course it will need a CLA at least. Again Sherry would be best placed to advise you on this.

Don't you think this camera should be given back to the widow? she probably didn't know how much it was worth when she gave it to your wife. I'd kind of sort of maybe understand not telling if you kept the camera, but if you plan on selling it...
