azzo Posted September 24, 2006 Share #6 Posted September 24, 2006 Kamilsukun & Chriisi.... i think a slightly better image lies somewhere between your 2 images in my opinion.A bit more contrast in the 1st & a bit less in the 2nd.And maybe this way, you will even keep the bit of detail on ' MOTHER'S' left eye, which is better than completely dark; and also keeping more detail in parts of her hair. Only my opinion on a good shot. Regards AZZO
tobey bilek Posted September 24, 2006 Share #7 Posted September 24, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) How? No optical VF if I remember. Digi is fast product cycling. The technology is so early and changing daily, The cameras have a lot of improving to do so new ones keep coming out. Wait until you try to get it repaired and it is 5 years old. stuny Posted September 24, 2006 Share #8 Posted September 24, 2006 Kami - A lovely portrait, with nice detail and cropping. I do prefer it a bit brighter. I find when I convert form color to B&W using ACD See I first desauturate, and then slide the histogram "bright "to the left just a bit, and the "mids" to the right just a bit.
