JHAG Posted July 10, 2008 Share #1 Posted July 10, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm looking for a large strap for the R-9. No neoprene, no plastic, no Op/Tech, but no Luigi too. What else ? (as would George Clooney say in the Nespresso ad)

Michael Hiles Posted July 11, 2008 Share #4 Posted July 11, 2008 I like the Y-strap (I made my own). It has been discussed here, and they have a web site. It works as advertised. Regards, Michael
dhsimmonds Posted July 11, 2008 Share #5 Posted July 11, 2008 I use the Skooba Superbungee shock absorbing strap with my D9/DMR. It is nice and wide especially around the shoulder/neck area and very well shock absorbed for walking over rough ground etc. I bought mine from Teamwork Digital in the UK but they are made in the U.S. The R9/DMR is heavy after a day's shooting (not as heavy as a Nikon D3 though) but I have really noticed that it feels "lighter" and much more comfortable using this strap.
