jeno_domjan Posted September 20, 2006 Share #1 Posted September 20, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) It’s necessary to know that there is a peaceful demonstration in front of the Houses of Parliaments, in Budapest, except for some vegetables so far. All riots and vandalism that is happening in the capital & can be seen on the news is also against the PM, but is not in accordance with the demonstrators at the main square. Fear & hope is on the faces, as people are looking for a true future. Pictures are from Monday. (D2/LC1) Regards: Jeno

stuny Posted September 20, 2006 Share #2 Posted September 20, 2006 Jeno - A very nice series, and a good argument for how versatile the D2/LC1 is.

Michael-IIIf Posted September 21, 2006 Share #5 Posted September 21, 2006 I love the tomato in No 1 - it makes the shot!
george + Posted September 23, 2006 Share #6 Posted September 23, 2006 This is a bit scary. I was there fifty years ago. Hope this popular move ends better than the one in 56.
jeno_domjan Posted September 25, 2006 Author Share #7 Posted September 25, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Michael, Yes, I like it too, I tried to use some fill in flash in another picture to make it more colourfull, but it "killed" the tomato. George, It's good to read, that you were there 50 yesrs ago, I wasn't. but this seems to be totally diiferent from what people told me of those days. There are no gunmen on the roofs (yet), & no military interventions. But I know that in 1956 it started as a peacefull demonstration, just as it is now.
