Guest wls.shanghai Posted June 30, 2008 Share #7 Posted June 30, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Werner - Who would have ever expected such a mundane industrial shot to be so beautiful. Excellent composition, moment, contrast, detail and tonal range. Stuart - it's true that usually coal-powerplants are rather "eye-soare" and quite big pollutants. This coal-powerplant is to be transformed into the biggest coal-powerplant in europe - the consequences for the citizens are devastating. at the moment there are great demonstrations against ths transformation. a lot of citizens join it and even "politicans" (SPD - greens TheLINKE) try to prevent it. But in germany there is an "atom-mafia" that bribes the politicans and manipulates everything. Regards wls
Rona!d Posted July 2, 2008 Share #8 Posted July 2, 2008 Wonderful b&w, well seen and composed. Personally i would like to see a little more space around, it seems to me to be cropped a little too tight. I love the dynamic the ship brings into the scenery, but it needs a little more space to float.
