Advertisement Posted September 19, 2006 Posted September 19, 2006 Hi jpreisch, Take a look here Color or B&W?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
cbretteville Posted September 19, 2006 Share #2 Posted September 19, 2006 James, I'm a B&W-head so no contest... ;-) The monochrome is much calmer and have beautiful tonality in the flower's petals. - Carl
bscott Posted September 19, 2006 Share #3 Posted September 19, 2006 The Black and White gets my vote by a large margin. Love it.
albert Posted September 19, 2006 Share #4 Posted September 19, 2006 I'll go with the B&W.....both have something about them that I am not able to put in words. Sort of an icy-glow to them........very special......Al

stuny Posted September 19, 2006 Share #6 Posted September 19, 2006 Jim - When the screen began painting I was awe-struck by the B&W. When the screen finished painting, and I scrolled down the choice was no longer clear -- the colors and gradations were intoxicating. However, I think the B&W just edges out the color. spylaw4 Posted September 20, 2006 Share #7 Posted September 20, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Both are very fine pics. I love the subtle tones of the colours of the dahlia, but the luminosity of the flower in the B&W is fab.
squiff Posted September 20, 2006 Share #8 Posted September 20, 2006 The luminosity in the B&W is amazing, my vote goes to that. The flower reminds me of a beautiful parallel to "little shop of horrors" strange. s
