Guest roey Posted May 19, 2008 Share #9 Posted May 19, 2008 Well, the file is titled AJS saloon 1930.gif.
elansprint72 Posted May 19, 2008 Share #10 Posted May 19, 2008 Well; if it is an AJS... they made some cars, went bust in the depression and went back to making motor-bikes. I think that the cars used other folks engines, perhaps Meadows, erm....Matchless? Climax??? Long time since I read about this, never seen one, I'm probably wrong......... as usual. Guest flatfour Posted May 20, 2008 Share #11 Posted May 20, 2008 I thought someone would notice ! Exactly a 1931 AJS saloon - A J Stevens made cars from 1929 - 1933 Fitted with a Coventry Climax 1099cc engine it was a handy little car but the recession killed it and they confined their activities to motor bikes.
