Here's how to change your icons...

Go the the icon you want to use (Some of the .icns files have no image - ignore these) select the icon you want to use and press "Apple - C" (Copy). Then go to the file/folder which you wan to apply the icon to. "ctrl - click" (Or right click) on this file/folder, a menu should pop up. Select the "Get Info" part of the menu. Now a window should open with the icon being used and the name of the file/folder at the top. Select the icon being used and then press "Apple - V" (Paste) the icon should change to the one you copied. For some files you have to repeat the "ctrl - V" two or three times to make it happen (I think this is a bit of an Apple glitch).

One way to know that it is not going to work at all is if the icon changes to an icon that looks like a file with the letters ICNS in it. Then you know you need to start the whole process again.

Hope this helps

Open the two Get Info boxes along each other. Then click on the top icon (in the upper left corner) of the one you want to change [which 'activates' that] then click on the Leica symbol one [so as to activate that] than cmd-C (so as to copy it.

Then go back to the other Get Info window where you have your icon 'activated', cmd-V that to paste it into.

Should work, no?
