harmsr Posted May 3, 2008 Share #8 Posted May 3, 2008 Hey LCT, It seems that your CV is on at 1.4 but focus shifts as you stop down. It seems that your Lux is front focussed at 1.4 then focus shifts as you stop down bringing the focus in. Otherwise the appear to draw in a similar fashion. Best, Ray

lct Posted October 27, 2008 Author Share #20 Posted October 27, 2008 Sorry my fault, i was using a relative's site that is not available any more. In one word the CV 35/1.4 SC flares more than the late Summilux 35/1.4 pre-asph but it is sharper than the latter at f/1.4 with the same smooh bokeh. At f/2 it's more or less a draw. From f/2.8 to f/5.6, it is difficult to get sharp results with the CV but my experience is limited then as i use the lens at full aperture essentially. According to Sean Reid, this difficulty would be due to focus shift. Cheers. LCT.
