The first one (this one), was just using the R8's meter in Aperture Priority (as I always do) using the standard matrix meter mode. The second one was shot with +1 Exposure Compensation dialed in. This brought out maybe a little more in the swallows, but overexposed the sky. The advantage of using digital and RAW, of course, is that there is a huge amount of information and latitude that you can pull out of the file. The exposure for this shot was 1/1552th at f4, ISO 100 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Next one it reminds me is "What's going on" by Marvin Gaye: It makes me speculate on the pattern. Why's nobody on the buttom line? Is there a pattern? If so it seems the white one is out of sync.
