USA road racer Posted March 18, 2009 Share #8 Posted March 18, 2009 VERY NICE PHOTO!!!!! Not exactly the critter I would want to meet on the trail. At least here in Arizona, we carry 44 Magnum Smith & Wesson hand guns for self defense. You may know the pistol made famous by Clint Eastwood in the movie "Dirty Harry". We DO have lots of bears out in the wilds of Arizona along with lots of other critters that would love to have you as a snack! Mountain lions & bears account for several deaths every year in the Western United States. Best defence of these animals is to know WHAT to do when you encounter one in the wild. After all, YOU have invaded HIS home.
