elansprint72 Posted September 8, 2006 Share #1 Posted September 8, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Yet another variation in windshields; this is the scruffiest D type you will see anywhere, it has not had anything at all in the way of restoration and is driven daily! Captured at what turned out to be the only"revival" at the Aintree circuit. Unfortunately the owners have now built an extra horse-racing grandstand where Tatt's Corner used to be. Cheers, Pete. Rona!d Posted September 9, 2006 Share #5 Posted September 9, 2006 Pete - A daily driver? This might be true! Last year i was out in the fields here in germany with my roadster on one of my fav. (nearly) single-track-roads, when suddenly one of those D-types came across. I was quit surprised, this guy was travelling with a racing car.
