fjmcsu Posted March 19, 2008 Share #1 Posted March 19, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Although not directly Leica, the new software is amazing in its ability to load web pages especially photographs. Highly recommended update. Really makes the Photo section rock! Addendum: If need be please move to Digital forum(I thought I had placed it there originally. phlogiston1 Posted March 20, 2008 Share #3 Posted March 20, 2008 I find that this new version is unstable and crashes on my intel 24inch iMac.
lct Posted March 20, 2008 Share #4 Posted March 20, 2008 Seems to work well with OS 10.4.11 (G5, PBG4) so far.
phlogiston1 Posted March 20, 2008 Share #5 Posted March 20, 2008 Yeah, I have never had Safari crash on me before. But it has done so every (2) days since the update. Curious indeed. Still Adobe just stuffed up the latest Lightroom update. So sad.I can do without those errors, it messes me about. You'd think they would test this stuff more thoroughly before releasing it. fjmcsu Posted March 20, 2008 Author Share #6 Posted March 20, 2008 So far no issues with crashing on my G5 Quadcore PowerPC nor MacBookPro (Intel), but I will keep a eye out for any weird performance issues.
